ORDER:- 1.

The applicant is seeking condonation of delay of 7226 days in filing the appeal, which appears to be caused due to his poor financial condition. The learned A.G.P. strongly opposed the application on the ground that delay is in ordinate and not properly explained.

However, considering the statutory right of the applicant and also the observation of this Court at Nagpur Bench in the case of Prashant Rathod and others vs State of Maharashtra and others, whereby huge delay of 28 years was condoned in land acquisition matters, the delay of 7226 days stands condoned subject to condition that the applicant shall not claim any interest for the aforesaid delay period.

The appeal be placed for admission after removal of office objections, if any.

The application is accordingly disposed of.
