Heard. The appeal is proposed to be filed for enhancement of compensation awarded on account of death in a vehicular accident.

The applicants are legal representatives of the deceased. There is delay of 1286 days in preferring the appeal. The delay is said to have occurred on account of want of funds. The application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (A). Delay condoned. Appeal be registered. However, the appellants shall not be entitled for the component of interest for the delayed period of 1286 days in case they succeed in the appeal.

On registration of appeal, notice be issued to the respondent returnable on 11th January 2022. Notice shall be for hearing the appeal finally at admission stage since it is for enhancement of compensation. Learned A.G.P. waives service for the respondent.
