Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner as well as the learned AGP.

The petitioner claims that the land standing in the name of his father was acquired for the public project but no compensation was paid. He alleges that though he had submitted representation with the respondent Special Land Acquisition Officer from time to time (Exhibits - B) and (Exhibit - C) in the year 2016 duly acknowledged by his office those have not been considered.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 Land Acquisition Officer to take some decision on the petitioner' s representations as early as possible and in any case within eight weeks. If the application is not traceable with the office of the respondent No.2 the petitioner shall provide its copy to him.
