The Petitioner is challenging the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies in Appeal preferred by him U/Sec. 18(4) of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014. In the wake of the said provision, finality is attached to the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar in Appeal, by virtue of Sub-Section(5) of Section 18. Further this Court had consistently taken a view that the order of the Divisional Joint Registrar can be assailed before the Registrar General under the Act-2014 and since the Commissioner for Co-operation, Pune is the Registrar General the

2 wp 2806.2019 Petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy.

In the wake of above, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
