Though the respondent No. 3 is served, none appears for the respondent No. 3.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, the respondent No. 3 is not forwarding the proposal for correction of date of birth of the petitioner in the school record to the Education Officer. 3.

The respondent No. 3 shall forward the proposal seeking correction in the date of birth of the petitioner in the school record to the Education Officer, on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within a period of 15 days from today. The Education Officer, if he comes to the conclusion that it is a case of obvious mistake, then the said

2 wp 2628.21 proposal shall be decided expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of the proposal.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
