Learned counsel for the applicant submits that though chargesheet came to be submitted on 18.01.2020 and the Court has issued summons on 30.01.2020, however, till this date, the summons is not served on the applicant-accused. The applicant-accused has filed Criminal Application No. 279/2022 for amendment to seek quashing of the proceedings after the knowledge that charge-sheet has been submitted.

In view of the above and for the reasons stated in Criminal Application No. 279 of 2022, the same is allowed in terms of prayer clause "B" and disposed off accordingly.
