2) The petition raises challenge to notice issued by Village Development Officer, calling upon him to produce evidence in respect of ownership over the property held by him. The impugned notice appears to have been issued in pursuance to the Resolution adopted by the Standing Committee of Zilla Parishad bearing No.483 dated 27.2.2006. 3) Since the challenge raised is merely in respect of the notice, it would be open for the petitioner to raise appropriate objection before the authority concerned. In exercise of powers and jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, no interference is called for. The writ petition is devoid of substance, hence stands rejected. ( P.R.
