Heard learned advocates appearing for the respective parties.

Perused the application and reasons as stated therein. The applicant is seeking to condone the delay of 597 days caused in filing the appeal against the award passed by the Reference Court. Applicants are original claimants, who lost their land on account of compulsory acquisition. They approached Reference Court under section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act. Reference is partly allowed. The applicants seek to file appeal for grant of enhanced compensation. Perused reasons as stated in application in paragraph nos.4 and 5.

They explained that because of lack of knowledge regarding legal proceeding and financial difficulties, they could not file the appeal within time.

Considering nature of litigation and fact that applicants are litigating for getting just compensation for their land. Sufficient cause is made out. Hence, delay is condoned. CA stands disposed off.

Appeal be registered subject to removal of office objections. On registration of appeal, Admit. Learned AGP waives notice, on admission. Print and paper book dispensed with.
