passed order dated 6th May, 2023 directing parties to maintain status quo and the said order still is inforce. It is thus his submission that since the evidence of plaintiff is over and one witness is examined by the defendant, it would be with the interest of justice that the suit is directed to be decided within a stipulated period of time and till then the order of status quo can be continued.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Corporation seeks time to respond the said statement. At his request, stand over to 4th September, 2024 in same category.
