1] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. The petitioners are challenging the final voters list in respect of inclusion of 270 voters for the ensuing election of Vividh Karyakari Seva Sahakari Society Ltd. Paranda, Dist. Osmanabad. The provisional voters list was published on 8th December, 2022 and the objections for the same were to be called on 19th December, 2022 and the final voters list was published on 1st January, 2023. Undisputedly, the petitioners have filed objections on 23.01.2023 and the same is filed beyond the period permissible. Although the objection letter mentions the date as 19.12.20222, the same

1136.23WP was filed on 23.01.2023. Since the objections were filed beyond the period permissible, the respondent no.3 - the District Co-operative Returning Election Officer has rejected the objections raised by the petitioners.

2] In view of delay in filing the objections and the election programme has processed at an advanced stage, I do not see any reason to interfere with the order passed by the respondent no.3 the District Co-operative Returning Election Officer, and accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.

3] The petitioners would be at liberty to approach the appropriate authority for redressal of their grievances after the elections are over, as may be available in law. [ARUN R. PEDNEKER] JUDGE DDC
