The petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment. He is waiting for a decision to be taken by respondent No.2/Chief Executive Officer on a proposal (Exhibit 'C') dated 18/01/2024,

1429.25wp (2) submitted by the Deputy Engineer of the Department wherein his father was serving.

The writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the proposal of the petitioner (Exhibit 'C') on its merits and in accordance with the policy, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of five weeks under intimation to the petitioner.
