Mr. Latif, learned Advocate for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has applied for mutating his name pursuant to the registered instrument in his favour in the year 2017. Cognizance of the same is not taken by the respondents.

The learned Asstt. Govt. Pleader for the respondents submits that for such purpose, the Committee is constituted under circular dated 13th February 2015. The petitioner may approach the Committee raising his grievance about the revenue authority not taking cognizance on his application for mutation. 3.

On receipt of the application, the Committee shall process the said application and pass the necessary orders, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of three (3) months. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
