Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned AGP appearing for respondent no.4. Though respondent nos.1 to 3 are served, non appears for them.

By way of filing this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks direction to respondent nos.1 to 3 to forward a proposal for salary of the petitioner as a part time Lecturer for the period from June, 2007 and February, 2011, to respondent no.4 and to pay the amount of salary and arrears of salary to the petitioner.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner invites our attention to the contents of the letter dated 13.06.2011 written by the Deputy Director of Education, Latur Division, Latur to the Principal of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Higher Secondary School and submits that though the said authority is willing to consider the request of the petitioner, the Principal of the said College has not submitted the proposal to the concerned authorities for payment of salary to the petitioner.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner and keeping in view the aforesaid letter dated 13.06.2011 written by the Deputy Director of Education to the Principal of the said College, we direct respondent nos.1 to 3 to submit a proposal to respondent no.4 for payment of salary to the petitioner for rendering services by him for the period from 2007-2011 as a part-time Lecturer, as expeditiously as possible, however within a period of six weeks from today.

Upon receiving such proposal, respondent no.4 to consider the same in accordance with the procedure/Rules and in case, the proposal is found to be viable, then release the salary to the petitioner for the said period, within four weeks thereafter.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
