Petitioners are coming with an innocuous prayer in the form of direction to the respondent No.2 who is Special Land Acquisition Officer under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, to whom a request has been made on 3rd August, 2022 in the light of the provisions of Section 75 of the Act for apportionment of the compensation amongst the petitioners and respondent Nos.3 to 7 as per the compromise decree passed in Special Civil Suit No. 69 of 2020 dated 25.9.2021. 3.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 to pass appropriate order regarding apportionment as per the compromise decree, if it has not been already passed, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within four weeks from today.
