Heard Mr Dharashive, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

Mr Dharashive fairly submitted before us that the petitioner, by way of prayer clause (C) prayed for interim relief in the nature of directions not to take any coercive action against the petitioner, he is pressing only prayer clause (B).

By inviting our attention to the documents placed on record, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was desirous of contesting the elections of Gram Panchayat and accordingly, submitted her claim of candidature in the elections of the year 2015 in village Miri Gram Panchayat, Tq. Mohol, Dist. Solapur. The petitioner is belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe category. As such, the claim of the petitioner was submitted for validation.

The petitioner, by way of representation/application dated 21st December, 2015 requested the authorities to decide and validate her caste claim expeditiously. The application is accepted by the office of the Committee on 21st December, 2015 i.e. on the very date.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner then submitted that in spite of the various representations, the claim is still pending before the Committee. He invited our attention to one of the representations dated 24th September, 2018.

This being limited grievance of the petitioner, the petition can be disposed of at the admission stage and accordingly the petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.5 - Committee to decide the pending claim of the petitioner for validation, as early as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of the order of this Court.
