The Petitioner has filed Application under the Right to Information Act, 2005. The said Application is rejected. The Petitioner has filed Appeal on 21.01.2022.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the application is made invoking Section 3(12) of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

We cannot accept the said contention. The information sought would not come within the ambit of the right to life and liberty.

As the Appeal is already pending and that the Petitioner requires the information for her further education for which according to the Petitioner the admission is to be taken in March2022, the Appellate Authority where the Appeal filed by the Petitioner (Page No. 24) is pending shall decide the said Appeal on or before 25.02.2022.

As far as the Objection to the General Merit List is concerned, the Petitioner may prosecute it before the University Authorities as may be permissible under law.

The Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
