Petitioners are craving to derive the benefit of Rehabilitation Allowance as was declared by the State government in its notification dated 18th December, 1983. It appears that they have also submitted an application dated 3.1.2018 with the office of the respondent No.2 Collector, seeking the benefit and copy of which was also addressed to the respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

Without expressing anything on the entitlement of the petitioners to derive any benefit in view of the aforesaid government decision, we dispose of the writ petition, by directing the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to take appropriate decision on the petitioner's application, dated 3.1.2018.

If the copy of the application is not available with the office of the respondent Nos. 2 and 3, the petitioner shall furnish a fresh copy.
