Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for respondents for quite sometime. Nomination form of present petitioner has been rejected on count that seconder of the petitioner is also seconder of the other candidates.

Having regard to information appended to notice dated 2nd January, 2019, both applications appear to have been rejected on 21st January, 2019. Candidates appear to have been made aware of consequences on such rejection of nomination. The norm has been uniformly applied. In the circumstances, it does not appear to be a case for exercise of discretionary power to interfere with impugned order.

Writ petition, therefore, is rejected.
