The proposal tendered by the petitioner under Section 36-A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, for according permission to sell the land as well as to exchange the land, is pending consideration with the State Government since long and no decision thereon as yet has been taken. 3.

In this view of the matter, this Writ Petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing respondent no.1 to take decision on the proposal of the petitioner under Section 36-A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code for according permission to sell the lands as well as to exchange the land, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from today. Order accordingly.
