Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGP for respondents/State Authorities.

The petitioner is seeking direction for full time pay scale and the consequential benefit from 2000-2001 and also seeking direction to decide the proposal for conferring him the above service benefits. The petition was amended and order dated 30.11.2018 issued by respondent No.3/Joint Director, is also challenged.

Respondent Nos.1 to 3 have filed affidavit-in-reply. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner informs that there are

He tenders on record the order dated 20.09.2024 issued by respondent/University granting him approval from 07.07.1999 on certain condition as a full time professor. On 07.11.2024, the petitioner made a representation to respondent No.3 in pursuance of the approval received to him.

In view of the supervening events, the matter would lie before respondent No.3, Joint Director of Education to consider the proposal and grant the service benefits to the petitioner. The interest of the parties would be served by issuing direction to respondent No.3 to consider the representation of the petitioner on its merits as well as the proposal if received in that regard. Respondent No.3 shall decide the proposal/ representation within four (4) weeks from today on its merit.
