It is submitted that the petitioners have been awarded certificate of excellent work, however, they are not given the benefit of additional increments.

We have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents-State.

In case, the petitioners are awardees of the excellent work prior to 24.08.2017, then the respondent No. 3 after confirming that the petitioners are the District Awardees and awarded certificates of excellent work, shall consider the case of petitioners for additional increments as laid down under the Government Resolution governing grant of additional increments to the excellent work awardee employees. The same shall be decided on its own merits within a period of six (6) months from today.

It is made clear that the Government Resolution dated 24.08.2017 does not have retrospective operation and will not be applicable to the employees who have been awarded certificate of excellent work prior to the said Government Resolution. 5.
Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
