1.

This court initially under its order dated 31-01-2017 had issued notice to respondents including Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar and had protected interest of petitioner directing not to take any adverse action against petitioner solely for non production of validity certificate.

The situation since then emerges that as yet the scrutiny committee has not decided pending tribe claim of petitioner and it further transpires that no coercive action based on the same has been taken by the respondents against petitioner.

Having regard to aforesaid, we deem it appropriate to direct the scrutiny committee-respondent no. 1 to proceed with determination of pending claim of the petitioner and decide the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of writ of this order.

Till such time, interim relief hitherto operating to continue to operate.

With aforesaid, till decision by respondent no. 1 - committee, writ petition is disposed of.
