ORDER:

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order of Sub-Divisional Officer rejecting the application for caste certificate is pending since January2016, the same is not yet decided. 2.

The learned AGP accepts notice for respondents and states that, in case the appeal is pending, the authority would decide the same on its own merits.

In case the appeal is filed by the petitioner against the order of Sub-Divisional Officer, respondent no. 2 shall decide the same in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within four months. The petitioner shall appear before respondent no. 2 on 12.02.2018.
