It is the case of the petitioner that the respondent-society has appointed him on August 1, 2013, as a part time Librarian. According to him, he holds qualification of Diploma in Library Science and pursuant to the Government Resolution dated November 25, 2005, certain benefits are conferred upon the teaching and non-teaching staff of a private Higher Secondary School. Accordingly, a proposal was forwarded by his employer for grant of approval to the services of the petitioner as part time Librarian, which the respondent no. 4 has not decided till date. 2.

The learned AGP for respondents no. 1 to 4 submits that the authorities will decide the claim of the petitioner within stipulated time.

Without assessing the claim of the petitioner on merits about

{2} wp1884.19.odt his entitlement for grant of approval, in the facts and circumstances of the case, it will be appropriate, in our opinion, to direct respondent no. 4 - Education Officer to decide the proposal for grant of approval, forwarded by the management in favour of the petitioner, expeditiously, in any case, not later than twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. 4.

Petition stands disposed of in above terms.
