The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal seeking validation of his tribe claim is pending with the scrutiny committee since the year 2014. The same is not yet decided. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is preparing for competitive examination.

In case the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent scrutiny committee, then the

2 wp 1557.20 respondent scrutiny committee shall endeavour to decide the same on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the scrutiny committee on 04.02.2020.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
