By the present petition, the petitioner has prayed in prayer clause "B" as under :- "

By issuance of writ of mandamus or writ or order in like nature it be directed to the respondent authorities to forthwith include the names of the petitioner in the Electoral Roll of Chakur-Ahmedpur

(2) W.P. No. 1343 of 2017 Legislature Assembly Constituency, Taluka Chakur, Dist. Latur as valid voter, in the light of the application under Form-6A of the Rule 8(b) of the Rules of 1960; and for that purpose issue necessary directions. "

The petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the application of the petition for inclusion of his name in the voters' list, in accordance with law, and if he is found to be eligible, his name be included in the voters' list, before 30th January, 2017.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

Parties to act upon an authenticated copy of this order. In addition, the Asst. Government Pleader shall communicate this order to the concerned authorities.
