Heard Mr. Swami learned advocate for applicants and learned advocate for respondents.

Applicant seeks to condone delay of 888 days caused in filing the appeal against award passed by Reference Curt. Appellant is the Acquiring Body and being aggrieved by assessment of compensation, seeks to file appeal. Contents of application show that delay has been occasioned on account of administrative exigencies. Contents of application are not controverted by respondents although they oppose to condone delay on the ground that sufficient cause is not made out. 3.
However, considering submissions advanced and reasons stated in the application, it is evident that applicant is required to follow procedure and obtain various sanctions. In that view of the matter, appeal cannot be said to be intentional. Applicant has not derived and advantage by making delay. In that view of the matter, case is made out
{3} to condone the delay. Hence, applications are allowed. Delay of 888 days caused in filing appeal is condoned. Appeals be registered subject to removal of office objections, if any.
