The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the caste claim of the petitioner is pending before the Scrutiny Committee since 28th January, 2021. The learned counsel further submits that, the petitioner has given reply to the vigilance report and the statement of the petitioner has been recorded by the Vigilance Officer. The petitioner is in need of the caste validity certificate for her education purpose. 2.

Considering the fact that, the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee since 28.01.2021 and the petitioner has submitted her reply to the vigilance report, the respondent/Scrutiny Committee shall decide the caste claim of the petitioner on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of two (02) months

2 wp 1459.22 from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 09.02.2022. The petitioner shall also co-operate in expeditious disposal of the validation proceeding.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
