The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the caste claim of the petitioner is pending before the Scrutiny Committee. The Principal of Marathwada Institute of Technology, Aurangabad has issued letter to the petitioner to submit validity certificate by 02nd February, 2022 else admission of the petitioner would be treated as cancelled. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that, validity certificate is issued in favour of the father of the petitioner after conducting due vigilance.

The petitioner has approached this Court very late. However, considering the educational career of the petitioner, the scrutiny committee if, it is possible, shall decide the caste claim of the petitioner on its own merits, in accordance with law,

2 wp 1414.22 expeditiously and preferably within a period of ten (10) days from today. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee tomorrow i. e. on 02nd February, 2022.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
