This is one more example of a widow being made to run from pillar to post, for pensionary benefits for 15 years after her husband suffered an untimely death on 16/01/2006. The employer is yet again the Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad.

Our attention is drawn to Annexure 'C' at page No.15 which is a communication from the Head Master of the School to respondent No.3 indicating that the petitioner would be entitled for pensionry benefits in the light of the 6th Pay Commission Recommendations. Yet, respondent khs/Aug. 2021/1543-d

- 2 - No.3 has not taken further steps to process the papers. So also, respondent No.3 has not taken a stand that the petitioner is not entitled to pension.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 4.

We direct respondent No.3 to ensure that the pension papers of the petitioner are cleared prior to 30/09/2021. We are imposing costs of Rs.25,000/- (Rs.Twenty Five Thousand only) to be deposited by respondent No.3 from his salary bank account, in this Court, on or before 30/09/2021. After the amount is deposited, the petitioner shall withdraw the same without conditions.

It be noted that if the petitioner's grievance is not redressed despite the above orders, we would be taking a serious view for the disobedience of our directions.
