Order :-

1. Grievance made by the petitioner in the present petition is that notification under section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 ( for short "Act of 1894") is issued on 14-09-2014, however, subsequently no steps have been taken.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents No.1 to 3, on instructions, states that in the case of petitioner even award was passed and funds were also sought, however, as per circular of Revenue and Forest Department the compensation will have to be paid as per the provisions of section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 ( for short "Act of 2013") .

As the statement is made that now compensation will have to be computed as per the provisions of the Act of 2013, we dispose of present writ petition directing the respondents-authorities to complete said process of calculating the amount of compensation to be paid as per the provisions of Act of 2013, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of this order. 4.

Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
