The petitioner - Zilla Parishad is seeking review of the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 14950/2017 and similar such matter by separate orders, whereby, we had held the respective awardees of the excellent work prior to 24 August 2017, to whom the certificates were issued as entitled to additional increments as laid down in the Government Resolution then prevalent. It was also held that the Government Resolution dated 24 August 2017, did not have retrospective operation and these petitioners would not be governed by that.

In similar set of facts this Court had an occasion to consider similar request by the State as well as various Zilla Parishads in Review Application (Civil) No. 170/2022 in Writ Petition No. 13760/2019 and connected matters. By elaborate judgment this Court,

one of us being the member of the bench (Mangesh S. Patil, J.), by the judgment and order dated 30 August 2022, review petitions were dismissed. This decision was subsequently followed by this Court in Review Application (Civil) No. 196/2022 and connected matters in order dated 06 October 2022.
