The Applicants, who are Petitioners before the Court, submit that they would deposit an amount of Rs. One lakh each, in this Court within a period of six weeks. Thereafter, the writ petition may be converted into a PIL.

In view of the above, the Civil application is disposed off. 3.

If the Petitioners deposit the amount of Rs. One lakh each (Total Rs. Two lakhs) on or before 20th March, 2024, they would be at liberty to follow the provisions of the Bombay High Court Public Interest Litigation Rules, 2010 to convert this Petition into a public interest litigation. The amount deposited would be in compliance of Rule 7A(i) of the 2010 Rules. If the amount is not deposited, the Writ Petition would stands dismissed without reference to the Court on 21st March, 2024.
