It is an application for withdrawal of amount of compensation moved by the applicant/original claimant.

Heard learned Advocates for both the sides. Perused the impugned judgment and award passed by the tribunal in M.A.C.P.No.342 of 2018. 3.

It is injury claim. The tribunal was pleased to award compensation of Rs.16,06,500/- with interest @ 7% per annum.

Having considered the submissions of both the sides, I am convinced to allow the applicants to withdraw 50% amount of compensation with accrued interest thereon.

ORDER

(i) The application is hereby allowed.

(ii) The applicants are hereby permitted to withdraw 50% of amount of compensation with accrued interest thereon on furnishing usual undertaking with the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court.

23-6128-2022ca (iii) The remaining 50% amount of compensation shall be invested in Fixed Deposit Account in any Nationalised Bank initially for a period of one year with renewal clause.
