The applicant-appellant has moved this application seeking extension of time to deposit the amount and continuation of interim order granting stay to the execution of award.

In brief, it is contention of learned counsel for the applicant that the amount could not be deposited within time due to financial crisis and pandemic on account of Covid-19. He further submits that cheque is ready for deposit.

Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to extend the time, provided the amount is deposited.

Considering the cause assigned, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (B) and (C). The amount be deposited within one week. The Registry to accept the cheque.
