Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

The grievance of petitioners is that the land of petitioners is acquired in the year 2011. The award is passed in May 2021 by the Special Land Acquisition Officer, still amount of compensation is not yet paid.

Mr. Shinde, the learned A. G. P. for respondent Nos. 1 to 3 submits that, the funds are not allocated by the Government, though the proposal is received.

The amount to be paid is as per the award passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer. Almost nine month have lapsed, the amount of compensation is not paid. The respondents shall make payment of compensation to the petitioners as per the award passed by the S. L. A. O. and as per entitlement of petitioners pursuant to the said award expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today. 5.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
