Heard respective counsels. A simple prayer of the applicant is that this Court by an interim order dated 14th March, 2024 directed the petitioner to pay half of the bill amount for Consumer No. 490010059892. Accordingly, as per this order, he has deposited Rs. 5,05,000/- with the respondent. However, the respondent by letter dated 06.01.2025 again demanded balance amount towards the same consumer number. He would submit that interest of the petitioner has been protected by this Court. He has fairly conceded that so far as arrears towards other consumer numbers mentioned in the letter dated 06.01.2025 are concerned, he is ready to deposit the entire arrears, if any.

The learned counsel for the contesting respondent conceded that there was interim protection and as per the order the respondent has complied with. Therefore, notice dated 06.01.2025 is quashed and set aside to the extent of the Consumer No. 490010059892. We make it clear that except the disputed amount of bill, the petitioner should pay the regular bill and the respondent should accept it unconditionally. In above terms the civil application stands disposed of. 3.
After paying regular bill, as interim protection is granted by this Court, the electricity supply of the applicant be restored to above consumer number.
