The petitioners, who were serving as muster assistants are aggrieved by the fact that the pension papers are being prepared from the date they were confirmed/regularized instead of their initial date of appointment. 3.

The learned A.G.P. waives service for the respondents.

We dispose of the writ petition, directing respondent nos. 1 to 5 to consider and take a decision in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation/request dated 19.08.2024 and 21.08.2024 (Exhibit 'S'), albeit it is a notice issued through an advocate, by treating it as their representation.
