On the last occasion, we had directed the learned Advocate for petitioners to place on record the policy pursuant to which the petitioners claim benefit of payment of ex-gratia amount. We had adjourned the matter for today.

Mr Kshirsagar for the petitioners submits that he could not get the policy as on date.

The reliance placed on the Government Resolution dated 29.9.2018 may not be sufficient for the petitioners to get the relief. Clause 3 of the said Government Resolution requires the concerned Minister to issue the administrative orders in that regard. In case the petitioners lay their hands on policy, for payment of ex-gratia amount, the petitioners may agitate in that regard afresh.

In that event, all contentions kept open. Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
