By this petition, the petitioner is challenging show cause notice dated 3 January 2022 issued by respondent No.3 i.e. the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Nandurbar, under section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act thereby proposing to initiate action for externment of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner being a Journalist, has been issued with the notice with ulterior motive. He states that the petitioner will appear before the competent authority and shall file the reply. In that view of the matter, the learned counsel, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
