Heard. Despite order, no affidavit-in-reply is filed. Learned Counsel for the petitioner asserted that despite sending application, same is not accepted. He indicated further that such application is required to be decided having regard to the provisions of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 and the Noise Pollution Rules, 2000 etc. The respondents are directed to accept the application and decide the same as per provisions of law within two weeks from today.

The criminal writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
