The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents pursuant to an enquiry conducted by the respondent No. 3-Education Officer (Secondary) pointing out number of deficiencies in the management of a school (respondent No. 4). By the communication dated 21.05.2018 the respondent No. 2-Deputy Director of Education was informed by the Education Officer about the deficiencies. However, except by issuing show cause notices, the Deputy Director does not seem to have taken further steps as is expected of him in law.

We, therefore, dispose of this petition by directing the respondent No. 2-Deputy Director of Education to take further steps pursuant to the communication addressed to him by the Education Officer dated 21.05.2018. He shall conclude the proceeding within eight weeks from today.
