The petitioner has preferred an appeal under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code before the SDO against the order passed by the Tahsildar under the provisions of Section 48(7) of the said Code. The appeal is pending before the appellate authority since 23rd August, 2022. The petitioner has also filed application for stay to the impugned recovery notice.

The petitioner is before us being aggrieved by the fact that neither the said application has been decided nor his appeal. 3.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to pass appropriate order on the stay application within seven days or decide the appeal itself within that period.
