The petitioner who has completed B.Tech from unreserved category intends to go for M.Tech seeking advantage of reservation. Her proposal has been pending with the Committee for validation of tribe certificate since 2017. It is being pointed out that her first degree paternal uncle Parmeshwar Vitthalrao Mupade possesses certificate of validity.

Learned AGP submits that the matter is awaiting vigilance report.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the Committee to decide the petitioner's proposal, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
