PER COURT :- Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 placed on record a communication issued to the Collector on 4.4.2018. Same is marked 'X' for identification. It is informed that a proposal for initiating land acquisition proceedings has been submitted to the Collector and the Collector is expected to complete the proceedings in consonance with the provisions of the law. In the circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent No.1 to complete the land acquisition proceedings in furtherance to proposal tendered by the acquiring body on 4.4.2018 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from today and declare the award. Respondent No.2 shall pay the amount, so determined under the Award as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of two months.
