Heard Smt. Reddy, learned counsel for the applicant. Applicant is an Assistant Registrar of Champawati Urban Co-Operative Bank Ltd., Beed. He is appointed as a liquidator. The Consumer Forum Beed, has issued arrest warrant under Section 27 of the Consumer Protection Act read with Section 70 of the Code of Criminal Procedure against applicant. She argued that under Section 27 (2) of the Consumer Protection Act the Consumer Forum has powers of the judicial Magistrate First Class.

Shri Deshmukh, learned APP for the respondent submits that appeal is provided under Section 27 of the Consumer Protection Act.

Smt. Reddy, learned counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application with liberty to pursue the appropriate remedy, when this Court made it clear that this application is not maintainable before this Court.
