Heard both sides. Writ petitions nos. 1244, 1242, 1243, 1250, 1249, 1248, 1247, 1246 and 1245 all of 2023 are not on Board. Production is allowed.

Without indulging into meeting the allegations and coutner allegations, it would suffice to note that the petitioners' appeals preferred under section 18(4) of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014 are pending before the appellate authority wherein applications for stay to the operation of the order under challenge are pending.

Both the sides are unanimous that all these matters are listed before the appellate authority on 6 February 2023. Both the sides make a statement that they would appear before the appellate authority and make their submissions on stay applications in all these appeals on that day.

We dispose of the writ petitions by directing the status quo to be maintained as is obtaining today in respect of possession of the respective properties in all these petitions till the appellate authority decides the stay applications which he shall hear and decide as expeditiously as possible and in any event within two weeks from 6 February 2023.
