Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Asst. Government Pleader appearing for respondent no.1 - State.

Normally we would not have entertained the petition. However, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before the Standing Committee of Jalgaon Municipal Corporation, Jalgaon, since 17th March 2006.

We direct respondent no.2 to decide the said appeal, in case, not already decided, on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible, however, within six months from today and communicate the decision so taken to the petitioner. Needless to observe that the petitioner shall extend full cooperation for early disposal of the said appeal.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of.
