ORAL ORDER :- 1.

Heard Mr. Kakade, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Navandar, learned Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had applied for the post of 'Majoor' from "Scheduled Caste Female" category. However, the Authorized Learning Centre (A.L.C.), through which the form was filled in, committed mistake and her gender was shown as 'Male'. The petitioner had given details of her father's and mother's names. Learned Counsel submits that the hall ticket was also erroneously issued. The petitioner being female has to be considered from S.C. Female category.

Mr. Navandar, learned Counsel submits that the hall ticket has been issued to the petitioner as per the application made by the petitioner. In the application, the petitioner had shown her gender as 'Male'. In view of that, hall ticket was rightly issued and the petitioner is being considered from the category applied. 4.

We have considered the submissions. The petitioner is a female. The petitioner had given details of her marital status, father's and mother's names. A photograph is also annexed on the hall ticket clearly showing that the petitioner is female. The glaring aspect is required to be considered.

We are not entering into the details as to the place where the mistake has occurred. However, considering the apparent facts on record, we pass the following order.

ORDER

(i) Respondents shall consider the petitioner from "Scheduled Caste Female" category for the post applied for, on its own merits.

(ii) Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
