This petition is filed seeking direction to respondent no.2 Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously and till then no adverse action should be taken against the petitioner by respondent no.3.

The fact that the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with respondent no.2 is not in dispute. We direct respondent no.2 to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six months from today. Needless to say that petitioner should extend cooperation for early disposal of the tribe claim.

Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided by respondent no.2, respondent no.3 shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner on the ground that she has not submitted tribe validity certificate. Protection granted to the petitioner is subject to outcome of proceedings pending before respondent no.2. Rule made absolute in above terms.
